Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Depot

Between 30 May 2016 and 30 Nov 2017 there will be significant changes to the way you use the Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Depot.

These changes are in preparation for the Dunmore Resource Recovery Redevelopment that involves the construction of a new transfer station and an organics processing facility. These improvements will make it possible for Council to provide a more efficient service and achieve environmental outcomes by diverting 75% of the waste received at the site from landfill.

Transfer Station

The existing transfer station will be reconfigured to accommodate the closure of part of the facility. Bays will be established and clearly marked for the disposal of materials. Extra staff will be available at the existing station to assist customers. Everyone's cooperation is appreciated.

Traffic delays

Due to the closure of part of the site to complete the redevelopment, all traffic will be directed through the one weighbridge and gatehouse (including small and heavy vehicles). Please be patient with staff and other patrons during this time. All efforts will be made to reduce the impact on customers during this time.
